UKO WAPI LYRICS BY WILLIAM YILIMA

uko wapi eh mungu wangu ,
uko wapi njoo uniokoe x2
mawimbi yanataka kuniangamiza,
misukosuko yaniandama,
dhoruba na majaribu havikomi kwangu,
uko wapi fanya hima niokoe,x2

uko wapi eh bwana ,
uko wapi mbona ni kama umeniacha,
husifiche uso wako eh bwana,
husifiche uso nipone kwa rehema,
mwili huu wa nyama,
unachoka pekeangu sitaweza,x2

nimegumbikwa wimbi la huzuni na mawazo,
amani kwangu ni kama ndoto,
ole wangu nikifurahi siku moja,
siku sita nitalia wiki ipite,
mangumu yangu nikisimulia kwa ndugu zangu,
waniambia utajijua na mungu wako,
nikielezea mangumu yangu kwa wapendwa,
waniambia tumechoka kukufariji,
wakati mwingine natamani heri nife,
kuliko kuishi ninyanyasike hivi x2

uko wapi eh mungu wa elijah,
uko wapi eh mungu wa ibrahim,
uko wapi eh mungu wa isaka,
elshadai fanya hima uniokoe,

uko wapi eh bwana ,
uko wapi mbona ni kama umeniacha,
husifiche uso wako eh bwana,
husifiche uso nipone kwa rehema,
mwili huu wa nyama,
unachoka pekeangu sitaweza,x2

nina neno juu yako eh mpendwa,
husilie kwa mangumu uliyonayo,
husitazame jaribu ulilonalo,
inua macho msalabani umtazame yesu,
japo ndugu wakikutega na kukuacha,
yesu atakukumbatia,majaribu ipo siku yatakoma,
utasahau shida zote ulizopata x2

will you please post the english translation. Thank you brother William
and family for that beautiful song and worshiping melody. Although the
meaning I understand not, but I spend hours and hours to that song. I have
found the lyrics and I sing along. Que le grand DIEU dU ciel et de la terre
vous benisse d'une maniere merveilleuse. It is now almost midniht (12 AM in
the USA, and I just want to send you brother William and your family my appreciations for those
glorious songs of worship (such as YESU nitie nguvu nimalise...) THANKS, MERCI
La paix de DIEU.

where are you my God,
where are you, come and save me x2
waves want to destroy me,
turmoil follow me where I go,
Storms and temptations cannot stop,
where are you, come swiftly and save me, x2

where are you Oh LORD
Where are you, it is like you have left me,
do not hide your face eh master,
Do not hide thy face from me, and save me by your mercies
Am just but flesh, I tire,
If you leave me, I cannot make it alone, x2

I am shadowed by a cloud of sadness and thoughts,
Peace to me is like a dream,
Alas, I am glad one day,
The next Six days of the week I spend crying,
When I explain my difficulties to my brothers and sisters,
They tell me, Deal with your God,
I tell my story to my loved ones,
They tell me we are tired of comforting you,
sometimes I wish it's better to die,
than live and suffer this way x2

where are you God of Elijah,
where are you God of Abraham,
where are you God of Issac,
El-Shaddai, Swiftly come and save me

where are you Oh LORD
Where are you, it is like you have left me,
do not hide your face eh master,
Do not hide thy face from me, and save me by your mercies,
Am just but flesh, I tire,
If you leave me, I cannot make it alone, x2

I have a word for you Brethren,
Do not cry about the hardship you have,
Do not concentrated on the trials you have,
raise your eyes to the cross and look at Jesus,
even though your brothers abandon you and leave you,
Jesus will embrace you, the temptation will be over one day,
you will forget all the problems you have ever had x2
