verse2
(bahati)
Najua uchungu,
maswali mengi kwako moyoni
Kwa nini mola iwe hivi
Kwa nini mola iwe mimi,
Najua uchungu na mimi haunioni,
Niko na rasta lakini mboni,
Imefungika wapewa story,
99 mama alipoondoka,
sikiza nikupe story
Kumbuka ghetto ni ngori
99 baba akanitoka,
Sana ikawa machozi ,
Mchanga na sijiwezi,
Maisha kung’ang’ana nikaona siwezi
Ndoto zangu nikatupa mbali,x2
Ila leo niko mahali,
Maisha kung’ang’ana nikaona siwezi
Kumbe mungu aliona mbali,
Ivyo mziki amenipa mimi

(Refrain)
Verse3
Nasema mungu ni mwema,
Stori zimebadilika,
Leo hii tunaimba wanabarikiwa,x2

(Refrain)

I am from Canada and when I listen to this song like every day 30 times. I wish I could just leave all that here and go to Kenya. People there still understand what life is about, here in the western world the moral value and other things are just disappearing. God bless Africa!

My name is Eunice. I am a Ghanaian and the first time I heard this song, I fell in love with the song. This is amazing, and how you used a real life story to do this is awesome. We thank God that this song is going to touch a lot of disappointed hearts. God bless you Bahati.
